🌅 Friday: Arrival, Ocean Air & Sunset Magic

We checked into our beachfront vacation rental just in time for golden hour—and instantly dropped everything to run straight to the beach (because priorities 😄).

The kids kicked off their shoes, sprinted toward the waves, and within minutes we were:
🏖️ Building sandcastles
🪁 Flying a kite in the salty breeze
🌊 Splashing in the waves with boogie boards

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wrapped up the night with a cozy little beach moment—

🌅 Watching the sky turn pink and gold

🥞 Saturday: Pancakes, Play & Boardwalk Lights

We started Saturday the only right way—breakfast at one of Myrtle Beach’s famous pancake houses 🥞 (because vacation calories don’t count, right?).

Then it was off to explore:

🎡 Boardwalk + Sky-High Views

Walking the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk felt like stepping into a summer movie—music, laughter, ocean air, and nonstop energy.

We couldn’t miss the iconic SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, and riding it as a family was one of those “wow” moments. Seeing the coastline from above with the kids pointing out everything below? Pure magic.

Next stop: Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

The kids were completely mesmerized walking through the shark tunnel 🦈

Next, we wandered through the peaceful beauty of Brookgreen Gardens

Between the sculptures, Spanish moss, and quiet trails, it felt like we stepped into another world. The kids loved spotting wildlife, and we loved the slower pace.

Before heading home, we made one last stop at Myrtle Beach State Park

We spent the morning:
